Words DO have meaning- This is a wonderful clip of how the Mayor dealt with an obstreperous reporter schmuck who tried to characterizes his question- and hence would then characterize ANY answer- to that question. . . AND BLOOMBERG WAS BRILLIANTLY QUICK ENOUGH TO CATCH IT!! Great! Just Great! There should be 'media-handling' lessons for truthful, good (and honest) politicians!!

Bloomy took the journalist's use of "maintain" as a shot at him being dishonest? What is Bloomy hiding? Or are more people questioning the manner Bloomy operates?

"Maintain" does not have a definition that connotes lying... look it up, Bloomy. Obviously, this is Bloomberg's attempt to avoid any questions re: Sean Bell --- note he doesn't cut the reporter off until Bell is mentioned.
