He sounds like a jerk, and I think his wife should leave him, as should the mother of his daughter, but I don't think that Clinton should have resigned or given up, and neither should this jerk. Staten Island seems to elect jerks regularly, so be it. Now since this guy was riding the wave of moral superiority that he republicans regularly try to dawn, perhaps he should quite for that, but I don't know his history.

Bill Clinton received a BJ from an intern in the White House while his wife was in another room. just_saying - The Fresh Kills landfill opened in 1948 and was never temporary. It was the primary landfill for NYC until 2001. It took a long time for the city to come up with a plan and an empathetic Mayor to shut it down. To judge Islanders by the landfill is foolish. It's shameful the way you speak of Staten Islanders without even having an understanding about the struggle they have had with the city and state.

Fossella blatently deceived his wife and lied about his marital status to his baby momma. Are the voters of Staten Island really ignorant enough to think he's been more honest with them? Frankly the residents of Staten Island are not the sharpest pencils in the box. Remember, they went along with the notarious Fresh Kills landfill after being told that it would be "temporary." Yeah, temporary for 50+ years.
