In the old days- the neighborhood 'Italian-American Social Men's Club'...(if you get my meaning-) would have found this guy and deliverd him to Coney Isalnd Hospital- or the 62nd precinct would have come accross this guy sitting upright in the front seat of a car parked with the motor still running underneath the old 'West End' subway line...(again, if you get my meaning-) Oh well...

It's definitely very residential -- I don't usually stay around the neighborhood for fun stuff to do, though there are some great restaurants further into Bay Ridge. I heard and I could be wrong of course, that the perp was a white guy.

it still one of the safest areas of brooklyn. its a little too boring for me. plus way too many old people. they should sell and let younger folks move in.

It's not as "nice and affluent" as you might think (being that I've lived in this neighborhood my entire life). The area has gone downhill a bit (especially the schools) plus there's a lot of elderly folks. Some time last year there was a hit & run, shooting..etc and my friend's house was broken into last night. Think it might be the same guy but not sure. So no, to me, it doesn't strain credibility that more cops are needed.

Dyker Heights is a nice, affluent safe part of Brooklyn. I feel terrible for that woman, but it strains credibility a bit to think there's a crime in Dyker and they need more cops. While I feel bad for the guy that got scammed by the fake water company guy...That's an old scam that most people should know about.
