- From the Gothamist Newsmap: A stabbing at Prospect Park Lake in Brooklyn, an armed robbery at Beaver Rd & 158 St and a car vs. building at E 66th St in Manhattan.
- A man was arrested in the stabbing of a Japanese food delivery man. It was initially suspected Zheng Hai Qing attacked the delivery man in a robbery, but it turns out Qing stabbed because he was having an affair with Qing's wife!
- Uma Thurman is being sued by Lancome, for claiming she's entitled to more money because other companies are still using her image in Lancome ads, even after her contract has expired.
- It's cute to know that Beyonce and Jay-Z love their burgers, even after a night of glamor and being chauffeured in their Maybach.
- Good idea: A pilot program is being launched by the state Bar Association and St. Vincent's Hospital for hospitals to a) know whether a patient has pets and b) "get legal authority to enter a patient's home to care for any pets that might be stranded there."
- The McGreeveys have reached a custody agreement--next up, alimony!
