nothing good can come of this. at least not in the next 6 years. it would be nice if the renovation included extending the G one extra stop to 4th/9th.

Let's hope the plans call for an elevator! Disabled individuals transferring from the R to the F at 4th and 9th have to climb approximately 90 steps. I've seen older riders acutely short of breath, clutching their chest by the time they reach the F platform.

hope this "renovation" is better managed than the Columbus Circle debacle, a mess for two years and counting...
