"do feel we are soulmates."

Translation: "We'll be divorced inside of six weeks."

60% of Ikea hires are from Red Hook? That is a made-up number from Ray Hall of Red Hook Rise, who has been a supporter of Ikea since the beginning. The company refuses to release any numbers.

Rather than agree to hire a certain number of local residents, Ikea gave residents a head-start on the application period... and then just waited a few weeks and put them in with the rest of the applicants.

Foot rub? I wonder what constitutes a "happy ending" with a foot rub?

By this time next year Nick and Mariah will be divorced.

the less locals in the IKEA workforce the better. the employees at the target downtown are mostly local and look at that fucking mess.

Early addition? Is that like late subtraction or timely multiplication?

Early EDITION is a common phrase used in journalism.

You can see it on Mariah's face: she has "divorced skin".
