• City Council member Melinda Katz, who announced her in-vitro pregnancy via the Post's front page, delivered her baby a month early. The baby boy is healthy.
• Today there are $5 lunch specials at Go Go Curry; also good to know: Go Go Curry gives out free toppings the day after Hideki Matsui (number 55) hits a home run.
• A Brooklyn synagogue employee was arrested for molesting two boys aged 13 and 14. The police report read, "the suspect [a nonreligious employee] had touched their private parts on more than one occasion while assisting them with their religious studies."
• A publicity stunt that will certainly go a little crazy: Long Island radio station WBLI is offering $1.06/gallon gas at a Lukoil station in Bay Shore.
• UBS may shed 8,000 jobs; it's unclear how many would be in the U.S.
