Pencil This In

FOOD: The 12th Annual Brooklyn Eats food orgy goes down tonight at a new venue in the Brooklyn Navy Yard with spectacular views of Manhattan. Of course, that island takes a back seat at tonight's celebration, where for $115 you can go on a feeding frenzy with tastings from some of Kings County’s finest restaurants, ranging from Park Slope’s homey Aunt Suzie's to Williamsburg’s Michelin-starred Dressler and the French/West African fusion restaurant Korhogo 126. Wash it all down with Sixpoint Craft Ales, wine from BOE Brooklyn Oenology, Michael-Towne Wines and Spirits, and more. – John Del Signore

6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. // Abigail Kirsch, Stage 6 [Steiner Studios in the Brooklyn Navy Yard] // Tickets cost $115 at the door.

EVENT: The Tribeca Film Fest takes over the Apple Store once again tonight, welcoming Greg Mottola. The director was behind Superbad and Arrested Development; he'll be on hand to talk about his latest venture, Adventureland, and whatever else you want to know about.

6:30 p.m. // Apple Store [103 Prince St] // Free

MUSIC: Did you get 1-2-3-4 0 tickets to the Feist show tonight? Head over to Mercury Lounge for a full night of tunes headlined by the one and only Langhorne Slim. Joining him on the bill are Hoots and Hellmouth, Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson, J Roddy Waltson & the Business. Slim's new album came out yesterday, and he'll be hitting the nation's roads soon in support of it.

8 p.m. // Mercury Lounge [217 E Houston St] // $12

0804pbrmodel.jpgART: Drink N Draw is tonight, bringing together art and nudity with beer. They provide the beer and the model, you bring your drawing tools of choice. This event happens every 2nd and 4th Wednesday, so you'll have plenty of chances to hone your tipsy artistic skills.

8 to 10 p.m. // 3rd Ward [195 Morgan, Brooklyn] // $15

THEATER: The Brits Off Broadway festival – which brought over one of the funniest play of 2007, The Receipt – is kicking off its 5th year of importing the hottest new shows from across the pond. Among them is Yellow Moon: The Ballad of Leila and Lee, which tells the tale of two Scottish teens on the run from broken homes and an unexpected act of violence. Staged in the same intimate space that hosted The Receipt, with minimal props and stellar actors, the “intensity of performers quietly excavating the souls of their characters is all that is necessary to hold the attention,” says the Times’s Charles Isherwood. – John Del Signore

8:30 p.m. // 59E59 Theaters [59 East 59th Street] // Tickets cost $27.50

The listed events were chosen by Gothamist and brought to you by the Click Here2009 Toyota Corolla.
