Who cares?
why does Jen Carlson post so much about the behind-the-scenes politics of this place?
seriously. who gives a shit?
Can't a junkie die in peace?
Uh, I give a shit. I've been as concerned about the Chelsea as I was about the Plaza...so this is good news indeed. Thanks, Jen.
I want to know who these people are that apparently rent rooms in the place just to hang crummy banners bitching about the hotel... that they're paying to stay in.
AvenueHebrew, that's not the only reason they live there. They live there because the Chelsea has a unique culture which the new management has been screwing around with...and which would be gone entirely, if they'd all packed up and left when Stanley Bard got kicked out. They're too invested in the place to leave.
Keep in mind, they were there long before BD and Glennon Travis -- some of them for decades.
