Did Police Union Harrass Family of Sean Bell's Fiancée?
The NYPD's Internal Affairs Bureau is investigating allegations that just hours after the not guilty verdict was issued in the Sean Bell shooting trial, a number of crank calls were made to the home of Nicole Paultre Bell's parents by someone connected to a police union. The calls were both hang-ups or someone laughing--"Ha ha ha"--on the other end of the line.
Caller ID identified their source as a line at the Sergeants Benevolent Association's Manhattan offices. Nicole Paultre-Bell's father Les said "The guy was taunting us, laughing. It was horrible because we had just come back from the court and the cemetery." And Paultre-Bell said, "It was just horrible."
Ed Mullins, the head of the SBA, told the Daily News "We'll cooperate with any investigation. If ... it came from here, I want to know."

The NYPD's Internal Affairs Bureau is investigating a cruel prank call to the family of Sean Bell's fiancée that originated from the Manhattan offices of a prominent police union, The Post has learned. "Ha, ha, ha," someone said in a 1:15 p.m.
If this ends up being a true story, and that the call(s) came from the Sergeants Benevolent Association, I hope they find out who made the call, fire him and publish his name. I'm not sure that charges are possible, but he deserves to be fired and publicly humiliated.
Who said cops had any brains? How could they be so stupid with the technology of today that they thought they would get away with that dumb malicious prank call?

If there is someone or some families that you want to shed crocodile tears for, why aren't you shedding them for the families of the cops who for 15 months feared their loved ones would be spending much of their lives in jail?
Why do you cry for Bell's family who raised a gangster and were doing this charade at the prompting of Sharpton and Rubenstein in order that all of them could get Million$ from the taxpayers in a lawsuit.
