- A million-dollar heroin deal operated by UPS truckers was busted in Chelsea yesterday--Kentucky police alerted cops to a suspicious UPS package with 10 pounds of heroin inside!
- The world food crisis means that some residents are sending their families abroad sugar, rice, and tomato paste from NYC.
- Future Coney Island developer Thor is using some of its land as a parking lot these days (though it will be used for carnival rides later for a week sometime in May).
- Seven correction officers at Rikers were charged with corruption--they delivered drugs, cigarettes, and cash to inmates.
- CNN's Richard Quest goes into rehab, a week after police found him Central Park after hours.
- McDonald's has brought its version of a Chick-Fil-A sandwich to NYC-- Midtown Lunch reviews it.
