I too very much like this idea. Good job gothamist, you guys just keep getting better and better. You guys planning an iPhone site at all? Also, what the fuck is with Padma? Why doesn't she go after a hot 20-something like me instead of some other old dude?

@ djwerdna-- thanks. we've been feeling like Extra, Extra was getting a little too long, and holding stuff for 6:30 every day meant some links were going up hours after they should have. so we're going to try a morning links post every day-- if anyone has a better name for it than "morning dose", we're all ears.

Can I just ask why the ferry boats from the 1960's (I'm looking at you JFK) are still in use while the new boats the city JUST bought are docked? No one wants to take those old ferries any more. They are AWFUL! Besides, they can't possibly be as efficient as the new ones anyway. It doesn't sound economical.
