Germs are good for you. They keep your immune system working. I find that people use that excuse to let their kids roll around the floor of subway cars. Then those same kids go back home and roll around in their bed; maybe even with their shoes still on. Probably these same parents don't teach their kids to wash their hands after using the toilet.

Reason # 457 why people from Long Island should not be permitted past the East River. People complain about the 3:30pm uptown subway rides with all the teenagers headed back to the Bronx, annoying yes, but man, they are nothing compared to the times I've ridden the LIRR back to Manhattan at 9 or 10pm on a Friday or Sat. night. I can only imagine what the rides back are like. Thankfully, I've never had to be on those trains.
