Considering how bad the Moondance looked after it left town, I wouldn't be surprised if the parts of the Cheyenne looked beat to hell if/when they're reassembled in Red Hook.

That's great to hear... It might not be Manhattan but at least it's staying in the five boroughs. Many thanks are in order to Mr. Perlman and Mr. O’Connell. I don't suppose there's any indication as to whether Spiros Kasimis will be going with the diner. Presumably not, given the commute he'd have to make.

I hear there's a lot of bus service to/from Red Hook, but I just can't bring myself to figure it out. I just walk from Smith/9th and hope for no rain.

Red Hook is easy to get to from Downtown Brooklyn. Just take mass transit. Yeah, mass transit includes the bus, numbnuts.

It may do well in Red Hook with Ikea opening in two months. Or it may just flop. If they could just extend the G train into Red Hook, it would be much easier to access. Or not.

As I sit here eating expired bodega triscuits and overly soured cream, my tummy flips massive to the news. We can use a new diner here in red hook. As local lore (and experience) goes: get explosive diarrhea once from the Hope and Anchor once, shame on them; get explosive diarrhea from the Hope and Anchor TWICE, shame on me.
