Oook. Whats the point of posting this picture?
@ Kojak-
ComicCon Fanboy porn?
wtf?
that pic is from the pro-chinese-government site.
you know, the government that prohibits having more than one child, which results in infanticide of baby girls. and the pic shows some sort of a chinese military man fucking american liberty lady.
jen.. whatta FUCK is wrong with you????
take off that nazi shit right now!
FUCK!
that is sickening.
I don't see the big deal about this image, it's basically just an R rated political cartoon.
yeah. an anti-human-rights political cartoon. great.
The statue of liberty is a symbol of America, not of human rights. So my interpretation is more "fuck america" than anti-human rights, though you're free to read your own message into it.
I don't agree with the message, but I don't see the point of getting all upset about it either. Considering how many people seem willing to interpret the 9/11 attacks as simply a way of expressing anti-Western sentiment, I'll take a political cartoon any day.
This artist doesn't know shit. why does the chinese statue look like a western italian pizza guy? First of all he's got a handlebar moustache, second he's got deep inset double lidded eyes, and third he's got an aquiline nose. I never saw no chinese guy look like that. They all look like sandra oh.
That's supposed to be a terracotta soldier. Statue on statue so to speak.
I've seen the terra cotta soliders in Xian. I have also seen the statue of liberty.
This is a disgrace to both pieces of history.
I find it immensely interesting that the people in Shanghai over on Shanghaist (or however you spell it), had a better, more nuanced dialogue about this than people on this site did...in America..supposedly one of the most liberal cities in the nation.
You people are un-fucking believable.
are they really? seems like most of the posts there are just about sex and only a few actually discussed the political meaning of the picture.
Unfortunately for China lady liberty didnt feel anything since the penis is sooooo smalllll
