New York Comic Con took place at the Javits Center this weekend and drew thousands of fans to meet authors, artists, actors, and characters of pop culture. It's also an opportunity for professionals in the industry to mingle and do business. This is the third year that the event has been held in New York.

Worst-Convention-Ever!
what a bunch of geeks.
I had a great time at Comic Con, which greatly benefited from the larger space to accommodate the massive crowds. Sunday felt a bit sparce, but I'll take that over ridiculously overcrowded anyday.
The MMO industry was much more present this year, with at least five massive booths for various online games, as well as lots of smaller game developers present. The Marvel and DC booths were pretty underwhelming, while the Darkhorse booth was very impressive.
Not as many cosplayers as I would have liked, but some inventive costuming was on display nonetheless. Go Iron Banana!
Here's a short video from Comic Con of a game distributor demo-ing the "B-Boy" game coming out this summer.
