Freedom for Foxy

080b4foxy.jpgEarlier this week it was announced that Foxy Brown would be released from prison after serving a drama-filled eight months behind bars. The first stop on her own personal freedom (publicity) tour, she said, was church, where "I've got to get on my knees." But what really came first was shopping in Harlem, followed by a trip to her mother's home in Prospect Heights.

Her Rolls Royce also carted around the VH1 crew who are filming her every move for an upcoming reality show. The opening shot will likely be of family and fans greeting her outside of Rikers Island, as she cried, "I'm home, I'm home. I'm back."

She got the star treatment upon leaving Rikers beyond the fanfare, The Daily News reports that City Councilman Charles Barron (D-Brooklyn), "drove her out in his black Chevy instead of the public bus that usually ferries ex-cons to freedom."

Screw VH-1 for glorifying this no talent felon.

Does anyone actually care about what's happening to Foxy Brown? I know I don't.

You don't know who Wayne Brady is? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wayne_Brady

He is the corniest, whitest, happy go lucky black guy since...I don't know if there is even a precedent for him.

Inner city riots might not be so bad. Homeland security will probably want to give us more money because they'll be afraid that the inner city will become a breeding ground for Al Qaeda.

    Who's Wayne Brady?

I like Mr. Barron'S approach, he will take us back to the mid sixties and we can enjoy a replay of all the inner city riots.

She'll be Remy Ma's cellmate in a few days.

Indeed. Why do we bother with a city council & why do boroughs retain their "own" dinky mayors? Markowitz would bend over whenever Bloomberg told him to do so.

"Is Charles Barron the new Al Sharpton?"

Charles Barron was former black panther and supposedly a member of the radical left. Something tells me that if speaks his mind he'll probably make Al Sharpton look like Wayne Brady.

Can we do something about getting rid of the city council, having a hard time finding something decent about any of them.....
