WABC 7 says it's "unclear if the fire truck ran a red light." What does it matter? Fire engines and ambulances shouldn't have to stop or slow at every light as they do today. That's the nature of EMERGENCY vehicles. If I had a dime for every jackass who's ever refused to yield or pull over after hearing the siren as they're required to by law, I'd make Bill Gates look like a pauper.

Starry? I don't know if you are awake or not but I've seen way too many incidents where people are just bopping to their ipods and don't move over. Hence a collision. Of course it's racially motivated Al. It's intelligent people versus dumb fucks.

Most firetruck accidents occur when a civilian sees the firetruck, and tries to race to beat through the intersection instead of slowing down. People don't understand that it's the law to yield to firetrucks, cops, and ambulances....they see it as some sort of cat and mouse game.
