Upon landing at JFK, the Pope, in an unexpected move, turned to Edward Cardinal Egan and punched him square in the face, sending him sprawling to the tarmac, then stood over him and said, "Take that, you pretentious f***!" Longtime Vaticanologists were stunned by the display, but did express some admiration for the Holy Father. "Who knew he had such a right cross?" one asked. As the Pope stepped over the Cardinal and made his way down the tarmac, he turned to the reporter from WNBC-TV and was overhead to ask how he could hookup with Darlene Rodriguez. The stunned reporter just shrugged, at which time Pope Benedict made his way to his waiting helicopter without further incident.

Do unto others, public works, charity, etc... not that I don't see your point too. If you're talking about helping others, the relief efforts in New Orleans were run almost solely by religious groups and church service ventures--not that such work forgives tresspasses or abuse in any way.
