Hillary Tells Bill to Buzz Off About Bosnia

2008_04_billhill2.jpgBill Clinton admitted that his wife gave him a talking-to after his clumsy attempt to clear up her "misspoke"n statements about a 1996 trip to Bosnia. The former president said, "Hillary called me and said 'You don't remember this. You weren't there, let me handle it.' I said, 'Yes ma'am.'"

On Thursday, Bill Clinton told an audience in Indiana that Senator Hillary Clinton was being unfairly criticized for the, as he put it, "one time late at night" she mistakenly said she faced sniper fire during an actually peaceful trip to Bosnia. He also claimed she immediately apologized.

Of course, that gave the everyone else an opportunity to remind Bill he was becoming a forgetful 60-something, since his wife actually made the mis-statements three times and waited a week before apologizing .

A Clinton administration veteran complained, "He doesn't know when to shut up." His remarks earned him three Pinnochios from Post's Fact Checker Michael Dobbs. And the Boston Globe has a story on Hillary's mixed blessing of a husband.

Looks like he decided to open his mouth one more time to tell the press about how he was told to shut his mouth.

Whose side is Bill on? Is he sub-consciously trying to undermine his wife. Lately every time he opens his mouth some sort of idiotic remark comes out. Sigh....

Bill as a husband isn't a "mixed blessing".
Hillary wouldn't be a senator from any state if she wasn't married to him.
