McCain Visits Brooklyn and Enjoys Pepperoni Pizza

Senator John McCain headed visited New York today. He stopped off to appear on The View in Manhattan and discussed a homeowner aid plan in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. And while in Bay Ridge, he went to Verrazano Pizza on 4th Avenue and 91st Street and bought a $3 slice of pepperoni pizza.

He told the counter worker to keep the change from a $20, which signals the Republican presidential candidate as a super generous tipper (Obama left a $10 tip on a $17.34 Midtown Manhattan diner breakfast last year) who also knows a good photo op.

And Mayor Bloomberg introduced McCain before his talk in Bay Ridge, calling him, "He is someone who is nothing if not forthright." You can read more about McCain's plan for homeowner aid here.

The 2nd picture was taken from a strange angle. At first glance it looks like a veiny penis is reaching towards McCain from behind the counter. Yet one can tell from McCain's dismissive hand gesture and stern face that he is not amused. So he simply throws money at it in the hopes that is will go away. His aides, on the other hand, are all smiles at the proffered penis.

eh, I don't see reason to criticize other than his reaching SO far over the counter to pay the $20.

Seems unsanitary. The person taking the money is handling cash and isn't wearing gloves, so hopefully isn't handling the food also.
