Snoopy: Gifted programs are geared towards children who are bright and (at least appear to) have an exceptional capacity for learning. Just the opposite of being "retarded." As far as racial/cultural bias goes, I was part of the Astor (later Astre) program at P.S. 124Q. I was one of like six white kids in a 30 person class. *shrug*

Oh my God Liv Tyler is moving to Brooklyn from the West Village. Who is Liv Tyler and should we care? I like the title "gifted" children. Why don't they just call them retarded? I mean really. Who the fuck would give a gift such as that on any human being?
