THEATER: Ann Bannon’s 1950s lesbian pulp novels, The Beebo Brinker Chronicles, were famous for passionately peeling back the covers on covert homosexual subcultures in Eisenhower America. A recent stage adaptation focuses on the parallel lives of two amorous sorority sisters who painfully part ways after graduation. The show stars OBIE-winner David Greenspan, who’s as brilliant as ever in his turn as a sort of gay Mother Hen to the scene’s neophytes. Read our review of the October premiere, but keep in mind that some actors have been replaced for this run at 37 Arts; losses include the charming Marin Ireland and the funny Anna Foss Wilson, who created the titular Beebo. – John Del Signore
8 p.m. // 37 Arts Theatre [450 W 37th St] // Ticket prices vary
