I'm a Liberty fan and season ticket holder and think this is probably one of the stupidest ideas I've ever heard. Midsummer nights are meant to be spent indoors, in the air conditioning of MSG, not outside in the mosquito hell that is Ashe Stadium listening to jets approaching LGA. And what about rain? So all these people will buy tickets for the novelty of an outdoor game, but if it rains they'll be sitting in MSG the following day when the makeup game is scheduled. For some real outdoor b-ball, head to Rucker Park or West 4th... this is crap.

Considering the stadium holds over 22,000 seats, 3k more than MSG, it will make the lack of fans that attend the games seem even more pathetic.

Amazing idea! Can we get St. Johns or, dare I say it, the Knicks to hit this up in a couple of years? Actually, St. Johns versus the Knicks could be a close game at this point.
