What you should do next time you go to a game is to take along a copy of the NYS Penal Codes, so you can show them exactly what section defines offending another person's sensibilities while attending a sporting event as a crime. I don't have my copy with me right now, or I'd look it up.

Are you suggesting that using language that offends your sensibilities is an example of a "real crime"? There's no enforcement of real crimes at Yankee Stadium. Last night, in the tier level, I sat in front of a very fat, loud, vulgar couple. They spoke to each other in 80 decibel voices, every other word was f***in' this and f***in' that. And every player that came to bat was encouraged to f***in' hit the s**t out of the ball. Not only did they offend my sensibilities, but those of dozens of parents of kids seated in the same section. Not one guard or cop stopped to request them to tone it down, despite the likelihood that they were heard throughout the right field tier level. I've been to games (particularly against the Red Sox), where everyone who cursed was ejected from the ballpark.
