Yes the Fiat Dino / Ferrari was a big hit for those that couldn't afford a real Ferrari, but I doubt the nice Jewish boy flipped one of those. He was probably looking in the mirror reflecting on his former stardom and lost it while eating a bagel with a schmeer.

the one image I've seen of a FIAT related to this accident was a picture of a FIAT DINO, a fiat sports car with a 6 cylinder ferrari engine, the same basic motor from a FERRARI DINO. oh well. so FIX IT AGAIN TONY!

Was this due to Kramer's idea to make 3 highway lanes into 2 big ones? Or did he slip on garbage not picked up by Kramer's Adopt-a-Highway program? Was it the food Kramer was warming up on the engine, or the fact he used the engine compartment as extra space for his Costco purchases? I bet he will hear it from his overbearing "Robert Barone-like" mechanic about his failure to properly maintain his brakes.

That Porsche 550 Spyder as LinkMan mentioned is worth a lot more than $250,000. BTM must be short for "Bottom" of the line FIAT, which is the abbreviation for "Fix It Again Tony." Anyone with his kind of money driving around in a beat up old Fiat really doesn't know his cars very well. I can see a brake hose drying out and leaking but really the emergency brake didn't work either? I can just imagine who does the work on his cars. His wife probably judging by its condition.

Anybody have any clue what a Fiat "BTM" is? I can't find anything on the internet about this particular model, and the Wikipedia List of Fiats doesn't include any reference to a BTM or anything made in 1967 that sounds like it might be misinterpreted as a BTM. Either Seinfeld has one super-rare Fiat (possible as he is a car nut, but unlikely given that you'd think I'd find some reference to the model somewhere), or the original reporter who reported this story got the car wrong and every other news outlet has yet to pick up on the mistake.

Why drive a dangerous 41-year-old piece of shit Fiat when you're worth hundreds of millions? (BTW, the car in that picture isn't the car that rolled -- if THAT car in that picture rolled he'd probably be dead now.) I'm not saying he needs to tool around in a $250,000 Porsche every day, and it's actually cool that he doesn't, but how about a car with ABS brakes, stability control, airbags, etc? These antique cars are nice to look at but dangerous to actually drive.
