"10-Table" Super Bowl Ring for Giants

The Giants have selected a design for their Super Bowl XLII championship ring, and it's certainly noticeable. Designed by Tiffany & Co., the white gold ring features three Lombardi trophies and a lot of diamonds (Tiffany also makes the Lombardi trophy). Michael Strahan wanted a "10 table ring"-- as in people would be able to see it 10 tables away (not 10 tables heavy).

Player Shaun O'Hara, who sat on the design team along with Strahan, Eli Manning, Amani Toomer, coach Tom Coughlin and Giants management, told reporters, "There was some discussion about maybe one of the rings was too big. I threw out the fact that it was a big win, it was a huge win, so the ring should be designed accordingly."

One side will have the player's name and number, plus the phrase "Eleven on the Road." The other side will say "Super Bowl XLII" with the date.

forget the score of the game, it should have the numbers 18-1

I agree, I was wondering what 17-14 was. guess its too late for tiffany's to do it over.

it's actually a pretty nice looking ring as far as championship rings go.

That's it Mike...keep it classy, baby.

yeah 18-1 would be real classy. Wankers.

Strahan needs something of value to offer his next ex-wife to keep her away from his bank account.

It's a fine enough ring. I would take the score off though only because I wouldn't want the initials "NE" to appear anywhere on it. I don't think the "Eleven straight on the road" is that important either, but I guess it is an NFL record.

And just think, in around ten years you'll probably be able to buy one of these on eBay.

If it were mine, I'd add a middle finger and "Eff the haters." But that's just me.

The best part is the personalized name on it. Makes each one of different value.

t'was a joke Captain Morgan. Just a joke.

Well to start off, I like the New York Giants Super Bowl XLII ring(through, I actually wanted the New England Patriots to win Super Bowl XLII, and go 19-0-0), but they could of put their New York Giants colors(blue, white, red)on it to not make look so plain. Other than that, I like that they included the score of Super Bowl XLII, I like that they put "11 straight on the road,"and I also like that they put the word "Manning."Through, I don't understand the number "10,"but overall this is a beautiful super bowl ring for the Super Bowl XLII champions, New York Giants.

My comment has now change. I meant to say that this ring sucks just like the New York Giants, and Eli Manning, who only won Super Bowl XLII because of no-calls called AGAINST the New England Patriots(ex: their was pass interference on 3rd & 20 with like 19 seconds to go in the 4th quarter). Now I'm a New England Patriots/Indianapolis Colts/New York Giants/Green Bay Packers fan(also a Baltimore Ravens fan), but I wanted the New England Patriots to go 19-0-0 and silence those 1972 Miami Dolphins! Now , when I say this ring sucks just the New York Giants, and Eli Manning(which is true), I meant it in a exaggerated way. This ring sucks because well although I fan of ALL those teams above me, I'm surprise it doesn't have the numbers "18-1"instead of "NYG 17 NE 14."That's what I really meant(not kidding)when I said "This ring sucks just like the New York Giants, and Eli Manning." And don't forget this is coming from a New England Patriots/Indianapolis Colts/Baltimore Ravens/New York Giants/Green Bay Packers fan. Oh, and Eli Manning doesn't really suck(in my opinion). He's just not at the top of my QB list.
