Jay-Z and Beyonce to Marry in New York

0804beyoncez.jpgIs a big May wedding just around the corner? People is reporting that Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z have taken out a marriage license in Scarsdale, New York this morning. The happy couple hasn't commented on the incident, but since the document is only valid for 60 days, time will tell.

According to the City Clerk's office, getting married in New York City requires requires the couple to apply "in person for a marriage license at any of our offices." So if not Manhattan, where will the two tie the knot?

Commissioner of the NBA, David Stern, lives in Scarsdale -- so perhaps they were scoping out his property. But our guess is the Hamptons (even though the two only rented there last year).

That is such thrilling news.

In other news...Jay Z tripped up on his untied shoelaces and stepped in shit.

Beyonce ages very well. She's been 24 for last 7 or 8 years.

They're not getting married in Brooklyn at "On Prospect Park" where they bought an apartment?!

Maybe I'm jealous but I can't think to much of a woman who would marry a rapper who made songs called "Money, Cash, HOES" and "I got 99 problems but a BITCH ain't one". About 99% of rap music today insults women, but these women don't mind marrying men who make music insulting them. Today's women are just stupid. No wonder why there are so many thug rappers out here, because the more thug image you show the more p***y and a** you get. And when these thugs kill the woman they was with, we blame the guy and rap music but not the woman for the decision she made to even get involved with someone like that.

i heard they are getting married on the 4th floor of his original marcy projects building. they're cleaning the piss from the stairwells first though.

RoDogg is barking up the wrong tree. Don't you know that HOVA is a Rocafella?!

april fools?

As usual with marriages involving two large egos, it won't last. I give it 18 months, tops.

#3: being as she's only 26 now, I'd say that's not really surprising.
