urbanfetch went bankrupt cause they were CRAZY!!! I loved urbanfetch. I remember ordering a sega dreamcast for 100 bucks delivered to my door in 5 minutes with free complimentary chocolate chip cookies, a free cotton t-shirt and 100 dollar discount. This is when Sega Dreamcast just launched and it was sold out everywhere. It was like hitting the lottery. that was the golden age of beginner IPO's where they thought a sane business model would be to invest advertising dollars as steep discount coupon's so word of mouth would spread. Instead people would just take advantage of the steep discounts and brag about it to their friends like me. I got so much stuff from amazon, kozmo, barnes and nobles, and especially urbanfetch for pennies. It was so good. then the bubble burst and people were out on their aerons.

UrbanFetch/Kozmo went out of business doing it in a very strange way.

We were skeptical at first, but love Maxdelivery now - the stuff does not come from other stores (they have it) and they deliver it themselves so you always get it. Selection used to be bad, but has been improving and is actually pretty solid now (much better than the crappy delis in tribeca) and the prices are not bad (seem much better than the ones on the new service wazuki), though their site is not as wiz-bank as wakuzi's

Seamless is also pretty ok, but mostly because it's tied into my expenses at work - at home, I just grab a menu from the stack by the door. If you have an issue though, call the restaurant directly and save some time instead of their "customer service"

Let's hope more jump in

I love www.Seamlessweb.com for restaurant ordering. They give you a list of restaurants in your area, you click on the restaurant that you want and it gives you the menu, then you click on the food you want. Some entries even have photos and they recently started allowing customer reviews. You never have to speak to anyone and you are always sure they will get your order right. The only drawback is that there are a few places in my neighborhood that aren't on there.
