I'm sure everyone sees 'Battlestar Galactica' and immediately rolls their eyes, but that show is AMAZING! It's smart, well written and very relevant and tackles current issues surprisingly cleverly. It's thought-provoking but never preachy. It's worth checking out if you can get past your Sci Fi phobia.

Wow! Thanks for giving me the word I was looking for to describe NY-CSI, "comically-inaccurate". I'm sure that Miamians must also look at the super modern Miami-CSI headquarters and say 'Whattt?". Just look at A&E (The Arrests and Examinations) Network to see how Miami detectives really do their work.
