Isn't this last weeks' news? I think that is MT's point. Of course the NY Post has latched onto this story like a pitbull on a steak just as they did with Obama's photos wearing African garb. They are a conservative-edged rag and anything that puts the negative spotlight on a Democratic candidate is going to be reported to death. Once Obama gets the nom, we will see just how ugly the Post and others like it will get.

Meh, yes and no. The lie does go to her character, integrity, and competence. These little moments can be all we get to see of what someone is really like. But still, the Post sucks, and milking the story in this overly emotional way is stupid. She exaggerated, no reason to be "insulted." @babyhitler - Obama's polling higher than Hil against McCain. I think of the two, Obama's got a better shot.

Why is Hillary lying about her experience inconsdequential? Who's bent out of shape? She was caught in a lie about her experience, and trys to play it off as an accidental misstatement. If she said she had scrambled eggs for breakfast but actually had oatmeal, that would be an inconsequential misstatement. Repeatedly stating that as First Lady she was flying into dangerous areas and coming under sniper fire, is serious. Can she not recall important details from 10 years ago like coming under sniper fire? She might need medical help, it could be a sign of Alzheimers or some other form of dementia.

Spin, hillary lied and then they had the balls to look us all in the eye and repeat the lie. Even after the footage came. Misspoke, it was a prepared speech. Written and and then read. She wasn't 2 martini's in at a cocktail party and telling stories. She was trying to make herself a stronger candidate and she lied dead in our faces. And then her people lied.
