Murray Hill Madam's #2 Turns Herself In

graceotoole.jpg

Accused assistant to Murray Hill Madame Kristin Davis, Grace O'Toole, turned herself in yesterday, perhaps realizing that escape from both the NYPD and the NY Media was an impossible mission. After her alleged boss was arrested and jailed on $2 million bail for running a prostitution ring linked to former Gov. Eliot Spitzer, O'Toole took off, although she was described very accurately by someone who witnessed her flight as wearing over-sized sunglasses, and carrying a travel tote and pet carrier. Cops had her Bronx apartment and her mother's NJ home staked out, and obviously the media weren't going to let the alleged call-girl ring back office operator evade attention, if not justice.

The 24-year-old was allegedly in charge of booking appointments and billing johns for Kristin Davis' sprawling Murray Hill prostitution business. Cops have already seized computer spreadsheets that implicate thousands of men as customers, including (allegedly!) Spitzer and Rangers forward Sean Avery. Avery actually thinks a rival used his name and real number when booking Davis's services.

An online profile details a fairly common life of a young woman in NYC, trying to figure out what she wanted to do with the rest of her life. Some of the goals include owning a dog, saving six months' living expenses, and getting out of debt. She claimed she eventually wanted to work at the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx, and was studying off and on for a degree in horticulture at Bronx Community College.

  • Joef

I went to high school with her in a small school in upstate NY, she was such a sweetheart, so it sad to see her in this position, she did what she did to get by and anyone with negative comments can sit on them

The Brooklyn Botanical Garden is in Brooklyn, the NY Botanical Garden is in the Bronx

silly hipsters! GET OUT and about! It's like a really big city, ya know?

  • funkforfree

i thought the botanical garden was in brooklyn

  • Steven

She could've done better for herself.

  • VanessaNYC

I'm not sure why commenters are calling her a whore. Based on the info from the story, she was a secretary.

  • JacqueMehoff

Is it a cat or a dog? probably a cat, dogs get carried in a designer bag. OK, don't lock her up if she's a cat lover. I also give her a pass because she's using the chest strap on her backpack. she's a hipster enigma.

my original post was a jab at some posters, white is right. that's another jab. free market system, another one. and the ultimate, the gliberterians.

"I guess she puts the 'whore' back into 'Horticulture.'" And now that I have won that 'thread' I think that 'My Witty Name', 'Jacquemeoff', 'Eyekantspel', 'joeb'and 'Nunyah Bidnit' are all a bunch of douche bags. My question for the NY Post is if she was second in command of a multimillon dollar operation why was she living in a one bedroom shithole apartment in the Bronx?

Her cat Opie is doing just fine, but he does miss his owner.

  • Rocknrope

I feel bad for the cat.

    joeb won this thread

  • Nunyah Bidnit

How about: You can lead a horticulture, but you can't make her think.

  • joeb

You can lead a horticulture, but you can't make her drink.

    Sorry, I'm embarrassed myself.

  • eyekantspel

maybe she thought prostitution was related to horticulture.

  • JacqueMehoff

Lock her up and throw away the key.

  • bklynd

It's possible she thought this was just an "escort" service, I guess.

  • VanessaNYC

I feel bad for her too.

  • matty

I feel bad for this chick.

  • MyWittyName

    I'd hit that.

  • Snoopy

Give her a break all she was doing was what every good secretary does, some typing and filing. She was honing her skills for when she could work at the botanical garden.

Just look at her. Does she look like her boss at all?
