Last Night's Action: Just End Already!

2006_11_sknickslogo.jpg

  • Toronto 103 Knicks 95: The march to the end continued with another loss and another lack of defense. Zach Randolph didn’t play again (wink wink) but surprisingly Randoph Morris spent the night sitting on the bench.

It’s clear from things like the 18-minute shoot-around the other day that Isiah simply doesn’t care anymore. And while that isn’t necessarily a surprise and may not even cost him a job in the organization, it is disappointing to see from someone who competed the way Isiah did on the court.

Hopefully, Donnie Walsh is taking all of this in and he is going to make changes the minute he arrives, the Knicks really need it.

  • Indiana 123 Nets 115: New Jersey faded in the second half, as the Pacers shot the lights out from 3-point land. Vince Carter had 33 in the losing effort.
  • Devils 5 Philadelphia 4 (shootout): This was a must-win for New Jersey and despite blowing a third period lead, they delivered. They vaulted into fourth place with the win and they are on the verge of clinching a playoff spot.

Why does it matter what changes the Dolan owned Knicks make? What needs to be done is the NBA and NBA Team owners taking action by forcing the Dolan's to sell the Kincks. Or have the NBA run the team until suitable owners are found. Problem solved.
