  • The Wall Street Journal surveys the nation's best hot dogs and singles out Shake Shack's as the best in NYC.
  • Informal Columbia raptor mascot Hawkmadinejad has his own blog--Hawkmadinebwog.
  • Students from across the city battled on the chess board today at an UES school.
  • Bad mojo: someone is trying to sell a stolen REVS sculpture on Craigslist.
  • The latest issue of the political magazine The New Republic has a cover that features the digitally morphed features of Sens. Obama and Clinton. The result is androgynously recognizable on both counts and unsettling.

by the way its not stolen if it was on the street!

A REVS sculpture was hacked off from 5th Avenue and 25th Street in Brooklyn - it was green and attached to a green pole. It may be the former location of the one that was listed as for sale.

That is one creepy magazine cover.
