David Schwimmer? Directing? "Run, Fat Boy, Run"? Did you see him in "The Cain Mutiny Court Martial"? Maybe he thinks that those who can act do; those who can't act direct. Did you see him in "The Caine Mutiny Court Martial"? He can't act. Not a bit. Not at all. His wooden performance made Steven Seagal seem like Kenneth Branagh. How this guy ever got beyond being a stage hand is a mystery.

#9 most of the characters is asian. but as you know america still don't want to see asian males on any media unless its asian women being saved by white or black guy. http://contemporarylit.about.com/cs/currentreviews/fr/bringingDown.htm In doing so, they established themselves as frequent customers at casinos across the country, usually posing as children of wealthy Asian businessmen, because apparently casinos are less skeptical about Asians spending large amounts of money, than a group of white kids. The players were given VIP treatment at nearly every casino in the country including complimentary suites, meals, tickets to boxing matches, and any other perk the casino managers could think of to keep the high-rollers coming back.

I didn't know the MIT BJ team was all Asian? the author was on CSPAN books plugging one of his books and no where did he mention nor did anyone question who the characters in his book were. I would think Asians would have an easy time at casinos with their gambling stereotype and all.

My suggestion: The United Artists series at Film Forum --Raging Bull and Manhattan tonight, The Killing and Paths of Glory tomorrow and Sunday. And it keeps getting better!

Maybe the "21" cast is mostly white because the film's producers thought portraying Asians as math whizes would be stereotypical and demeaning. (rolls eyes)

i hope 21 blows, they suck for changing the story to whiten the characters. its like telling Michael Jordan story with white guys .

In the book, the "21" crew is predominantly Asian. Hollywood has since re-casted almost the entire team with non-Asian. Hollywood has no love for Asians, unless the person is a female.

when will they realize that nobody wants to watch another movie about iraq? yeah, the trailer for 21 was awful in it's comprehensiveness. if i hear about a movie i plan on watching, like iron man, i make sure not to watch the trailer.
