Horrible, horrible, horrible. Tell you what: if I even *see* a seven-inch knife anywhere near me, the m*therfucking holder better pray he's not within my striking range, 'cuz I am not waiting for "imminent danger of death or serious bodily harm" before giving him one or more of the following: a broken knifing arm, broken ribs, a broken jaw, and a seven-inch knife shoved so far up his ass they will need the Jaws of Life to remove it. But more to the point, and this is not the fault of the reporting: "suspect", or Definitely The Guy Who Did It? Because if it's the latter, then the "information" should be something like "shoot this guy until he is D-E-A-D before it can be plea-bargained down to 'by reason of insanity'".

Perhaps they don't want to find him? According to Village Voice, NYPD didn't count this murder in official records because it occurred on Feb.29. They were afraid extra day in 2008 could threaten their crime statistics.

I walked by that Key Foods last night and wondered if the cops had caught him yet. Hey, at least we know every detail about Spitzer's sex life. I hope this guy is enjoying his life in Costa Rica....or the Bronx.

You just have to love this conflicting attempt at political correctness from Gothamist. It says "a man stabbed two employees" then says Gonzalez is just a suspect. If it's not Gonzalez, then how do we know the suspect is a man? And if it really is Gonzalez in the photo carrying a knife, he's a little more than just a suspect, especially if he's been on the lam all this time. I guess Gothamist is afraid that he really didn't do it and that he'll come back and sue the site.
