Spitzer Allegedly Linked to East Side Prostitution Ring

200803kdavis.jpgSurprise, surprise: Eliot Spitzer is being linked to Kristin "Billie" Davis's prostitution ring, which got busted earlier this week. Wicked Models, the East Side Madam's operation, toppled on Tuesday, and it looks like it's going to bring down some clients with it (rumor is the list is 10,000 strong).

While Police commissioner Ray Kelly says the case has no relation to Spitzer, The NY Post is reporting that the ex-Governor "regularly patronized" her company and was a long-standing client (something his spokeswoman denies). The information was obtained during a yearlong investigation and backed up by financial documents and other evidence.

If true, it seems like Spitzer isn't just into petite brunettes, as allegedly Davis herself "serviced" the ex-Gov even before becoming a madam in 2004. She's described as "a busty bottle blonde who hails from a ough-and-tumble California trailer park." And allegedly Spitzer wasn't her biggest client.

The source close to Davis said more high-profile names are involved. "There are some big people involved in the entertainment industry," the source said, adding that there are "sports superstars" including "a very prominent Yankee," along with Spitzer campaign contributors.
After being tipped off about the investigation, she was making arrangements for skipping town when the long arm of the law busted through her door. Currently in custody and being held on $2 million bail, she's looking at around 15 years in the slammer if convicted. She pleaded not guilty yesterday to her charges of money laundering and promoting prostitution.

Before being taken in she was apparently charging her clients around $1,600/hour, earning approximately $6 million since 2004 (her other call-girl websites included the Madison La A'mour and New York Body Miracle agencies). Looks like Ashley Dupré was working for the wrong company, and if anyone cashes in on the scandal, it'll be Miss Davis, who was already shopping her story around before the bust, and touted on her MySpace page, "I have created a business empire where I rule."

UPDATE: Sun & Sin has a screenshot of some of the "models" at Wicked Models.

She's hideous.

I don't care. I'm also disturbed by the photo.

That's a tranny.

Kristin "Billie" Davis is scary looking. Looks like had a lot of work done, poorly.

Odd. What pro athlete needs to pay for sex?

Can they please get off this sex scandal crap? What a bunch of hypocrites. Life is hard enough. So what if people want to pay for sex? Whoever they are. Phoney morality.

Two million dollars bail? For a madam? That's outrageous! There are violent criminals who commit true crimes that are held for less bail. When is the government going to use its resources to go after REAL criminals and leave the people to police their own morals?

HIDEOUS!

Forget morals and crime and let's get back on topic here. Screwing would be the last thing on my mind if I had to lay eyes on that thing. Good Lord!!!

She makes homosexuality look like maybe not such a bad idea after all.

Odd. What pro athlete needs to pay for sex?

The point is to pay a lot for it so you know it's worth something. Also, you can show it off, even if it's ugly, just like a Rolex. It's a sign of its price tag, which is the important thing.

But I don't see any reason for this sort of foolishness to be illegal.

legalize prostitution already

So what if people want to pay for sex?

It's a disgusting thing that no one should be allowed to do. There's this thing called "quality of life".

The rule of thumb is "Would you want this to occur on your doorstep?" If the answer is no, then you know it's no good.

Anyone who can try to rationalize the prostitution is ok is out of touch with reality and society.

Novaglus -

Ha ha ha ha ha....

Oh. you're serious?

What a bunch of hypocrites.

You mean like a guy who put prostitutes in prison while using prostitutes? Like that?

It's a disgusting thing that no one should be allowed to do. There's this thing called "quality of life".

How does having sex negatively affect your quality of life? Why is it more appropriate for a guy to take a girl out to a fancy restaurant, a movie, and buy her a gift to get sex, but not OK for him to just skip the middle man and give her the money directly?

The rule of thumb is "Would you want this to occur on your doorstep?" If the answer is no, then you know it's no good.

You got me here. I would not want two people I don't know having sex on my doorstep.

Anyone who can try to rationalize the prostitution is ok is out of touch with reality and society.

Nevada: Out of touch with society.

The rule of thumb is "Would you want this to occur on your doorstep?" If the answer is no, then you know it's no good.

Dog shitting on my doorstep - no good
Dog shitting on sidewalk and responsible owner picking it up - good

In other words, if adults act responsibly and noone gets hurt, who the hell cares?

I'm living in Barcelona for a bit and here prostitution is legal and nobody bats an eye. Streetwalking is illegal but brothels (just look for the blacked out storefront with the neon 'club' sign) are everywhere, most seem to be in one particular, quite upscale barrio. They don't bother anyone and no one really cares. And despite it's plethora of 'clubs' property values in barrio Eixample are sky high!

Why oh why are we sooo uptight. Here police won't swoop if a teen orders a glass of wine, or you smoke a joint at the beach or pay for sex. And all-in-all the people seem pretty damned happy and care free, and the society isn't crumbling.

Face it, people have always done these things and always will. What a waste of resources this moral policing is.

omg yes! i would love to just pay some cash instead of suffering through miss petigrew lives for a day.

well, the theory is that the first approach might lead to a lasting relationship, marriage and procreation in a stable family relationship, benefitting society. Prostitution, on the other hand, generally brings higher risk of disease transmittal. Not always, but often the women involved do not enter that life willingly, have drug problems, etc.

I'm kind of split on the idea of legalization, but people who act as if there is no downside are fooling themselves.

Still, that doesn't change the fact that in Spitzer's case, he was prosecuting people for, and signing legislation against, the very conduct he himself was involved in for so long.

Or that this Davis woman is really strange looking.

Prostitution spreads disease, and I don't care where in the city it's happening, I don't want hookers wandering the streets.

In order for prostitution to work safely, which I agree it can, it would take quite a bit of regulation and maintenence. I'd rather have my politicans working on real problems that having to make laws so people who can't get laid can get some poon.

Therefore, keep it illegal and make the ugly losers in life deal with it. Use your fuckin hand and the intarweb.

Some MORALS should be applied to our laws. It's a shame that you people go to the extreme with the "Bah...do whatever you want!" becuase down the road it WILL affect you.

Let me know your thoughts when it's legal and your kids are doing it. If you support that, you're either lying or don't deserve to be a parent.

is that spitzer in drag?

"Let me know your thoughts when it's legal and your kids are doing it. If you support that, you're either lying or don't deserve to be a parent. "

Red herring. What I think should be legal, and what I think is proper behavior for my children are two completely different things.

Odd. What pro athlete needs to pay for sex?

i once heard someone say that they don't pay hookers for sex....they pay them to leave afterwards!

Some people like to have sex with children. Some people are rapists who like to beat or kill the people they have sex with. Some people find it profitable to hold other people against their will so that people can pay to have sex with them. These are the situations we mean to address with prostitution's illegality, I guess this may inconvenience the socially lazy - aaannd...sorry about that.

I consider myself a moral and ethical person. Sure, the common good is served by the justice system. Jurisprudence is based on common sense and, yes, a sense of morality to certain degree. But we do not legislate morality as such. We also don't legislate to create a perfect society, but rather to guarantee life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. If Spitzer or anyone else chooses to go to prostitutes, that's their choice. If you loose your respect for him because of that, that's your choice. But don't seek to legislate morality in capital letters.

Spitzer repeatedly broke laws that he enforced against others and, as Governor, he actively supported. Dismissing his criminal behavior as nothing more than a matter of choice is ridiculous, unless you are talking about his choice to commit a crime and risk getting caught.

"we do not legislate morality as such... but to guarantee life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness"? you must be from someplace else.

I hope that its clear that I am not defending Spitzer. His hypocisy is obvious.

I suppose I should have said "we SHOULD not legislate morality as such..."

And BTW are all from someplace else.

Is she Jewish?

i once heard someone say that they don't pay hookers for sex....they pay them to leave afterwards!

And they pay not to be blackmailed later or on the hook for child support. There are lots of reasons.

Who the fuck cares if she's Jewish or not?

So, that's a yes.

Novanglus,

We should ban drunkenness, smoking (oh, wait we nearly have already), obesity, and arrest people who don't clean up after their pets, right?

I mean you're into quality of life laws so why stop with two consenting adults in a paid service. Let's keep going! Hey, fattie taking up two seats on the bus, my quality of life is declining. Shower, too. Arrest this man please. You smell like cigarette smoke, too. Oh, you smoked in your own house, your own property? Tough. Arrest him.

How would I know, you fucking idiot?

Maybe it's me, but i'm having trouble keeping all the Kristin Davis 'hos straight lately.

On a related note, perhaps that was Elliot's thang that Charlotte York was workin'

What are you all going on about? Ms. Davis's appearance does not fit the stereotype of a prostitute.

Didn't you didn't know? All female hedge fund traders look like that. I thought that was common knowledge.

You're all so unsophisticated.

So these big shot guys pay to have sex with women who will keep a secret so that their homelives and careers are not in jeopardy. How's that workin' out for ya, fellas?

Silda should have known the day she opened her Elliott's dresser drawer and it was full of condoms, empty Binaca bottles, furry handcuffs, hundred dollar bills wrapped with rubber bands, Hermes scarves, douche applicators,Viagra coupons, and a picture of Kobe Bryant signed by "that woman".
The 'lovely' lady pictured above most likely serviced the Governor south of the Tappan Zee Bridge, if you get my meaning.
