Have you never had an accident or made a mistake? Cut them some slack. I was on the Hempstead train yesterday. Accidents happen. I was inconvenienced, but life is short and I'm not going to waste it getting worked up over being late. No one was hurt and that is truly all that matters.

Trains are not cars.. they should not be in any position to "bump together". This is not "shit happens", it's "oops". It appears the 9:34 did not clear the switch.
