I only ever went there for the "nightlife activities," so alas Frying Pan, you will remain dead to me...
Sad to see the early closing time, but very happy that it's opening again. At least we'll (ostensibly)be able to go hang out at sunset time.
I spent so much of my 'Young Crazy' life at the Frying Pan. It's an amazing space, and I'm not certain why they wouldn't bring back shows and dance parties. Nearly everything I went to there, especially TOTH, was packed, brilliant and had a line at the bar. Maybe you need a good pr practitioner?
I can't wait to see the new place but I sure am going to miss the old pier. But glad to see it's coming back.
I was hanging out at other all night venues during this thing's run, but I always wanted to get out and see this.
1 A.M. is usually when I used to head out on the town for the night, or I was pre-gaming for the main event at the club later.
I will not be in attendance.
