The endless debate over how to classify hipsters has been tearing this city apart for years, pitting brother against scenester, native New Yorker against arriviste, trust funder against squatter, even self-hating hipster against himself. So it's important for everyone to step back a bit and acknowledge that while we may never agree on a singular definition for hipster, like Supreme Court judges watching porn, we know it when we see it. Sure, the word hipster is a tired cliché, but the cliché still walks, talks, and parties down in Brooklyn, with bottles of whiskey stashed proudly down the back of its Speedo. Your hate only makes them stronger, and let's face it – they do know how to have fun.

this is the single most underachieving thing I have ever seen on a pro blog.
1. Hipsters are white (blacks and asians dont' matter cause white people are subconsciously racist and would not accept them anyway)
2. Hipsters are too old to do what they are supposed to be doing so they are 20-35
3. Hipsters are pansexual - that means they'll have sex with guys, girls, dogs and appliances.
4. Hipsters spend money from their parents allowing them to live in a neverland fantasy world.
5. Hipster clothing is ridiculously expensive. If you have hipster-esque clothes but you didn't pay alot of money for them that means you aren't a hipster but just poor.

I hate JDS as much as anyone, but I think the concept behind the post isn't inherently bad, just the execution. A simple list would be more effective-- so I second what Zodak said.
Back to the story at hand: can't we send the hipsters away or something? Can we establish a trail of PBR that leads to Ohio and have them follow that? Or can the L train be routed somewhere out of the state?
