The Gothamist-Slice Pizza Party at Fornino Returns!

2008_03_forninopizza.jpg

Almost exactly two years ago, Gothamist and Slice had a pizza party at Fornino in Williamsburg. It's been a long time, but we're happy to announce that we're having another pizza party at Fornino on April 7th.

When: Monday, April 7th from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. (or longer)
Where: Fornino, 187 Bedford Ave in Williamsburg, Brooklyn (Bedford stop on the L)
What and How Much: All you can eat pizza, unlimited drinks (beer, wine, soda) for $32 ($30 + ticketing charges, yo)
Like the first Gothamist-Slice pizza party at Fornino, there will be a mozzarella making demonstration by Chef-owner Michael Ayoub following the pizza gorging.

You can purchase your tickets via the handy-dandy Paypal button below - we're all sold out!! When purchasing, please be sure to note your name in the "Include Attendee Name(s)" field (we'll be using that to check you in). Due to limited space, we're only allowing a maximum of four tickets per person.

wow, that pizza does not look appealing at all.

The pizza looks great. The $32 is a bit steep for a pizza dinner for one person. Will a portion of the money be going to charity?

Hi, blablanyc: Adam from Slice here. I don't necessarily want to bill the event as all-you-can eat/drink, but when we had this party in 2006, that's essentially what it was. The pizzas came out of the oven fast and furious, and I think it's safe to say that *nobody* left hungry. The beer and wine flowed pretty freely, too. I don't think anyone who attended 2006's event felt like they got ripped off on the deal. And, to answer your question, no part of the $32 goes to charity. It goes to cover the cost of pizza, beer, wine, and soft drinks. I think it's a fair price.

I agree, that when you're including free drinks especially...that's actually a GREAT deal.

Uhh, was all over this until I noticed the Monday date (worst day of the week for a plethora of reasons). Hopefully there's a Thursday to Sunday repeat in the future. Cheers

feeeeed meeehhhh!
