Last Night's Action: Another Step Closer To The End

2008_03_grandolph.jpgThe Knicks keep finding new and interesting ways to lose. Monday’s 110-98 loss saw them shoot the lights out from three-point range, hitting 47%, but miss a lot of shots from inside the arc, hitting less than 40%. Zach Randolph had a nice game, scoring 21 points and pulling down 14 rebounds while Wilson Chandler continued his development with an up-and-down night that saw him score 15 points.

But, the real news of the day wasn’t on the court, it was off it. Rumors are circulating that Jim Dolan met with current Pacers’ CEO, Donnie Walsh. Walsh is originally from New York and he has been very successful as the GM of Indiana, pulling off several brilliant trades in his tenure.

Someone like Walsh would be the perfect candidate to come in and try and fix this mess, though it is hard to see why anyone of his stature would want to work for Jim Dolan. For his part, it looks like Isiah isn’t really interested in coaching games or practices anymore, so maybe he knows the end is near.
