Everyone Wants a Piece of Spitzer Call Girl "Kristen"

2008_03_kristennypost.jpg

Likely many a person coming to New York City with a dream, Ashley Alexandra Dupre, also known as Governor Spitzer's February 13 call girl "Kristen," wanted to be famous. But did she want to be infamous enough to be on the cover of the NY Post as a "BAD GIRL"? And how bad can she be, if she has a tattoo of a cross on her right hand? In addition to the photo on the cover of The Post, they have several more photos of the girl who brought Spitzer down.

The Post reports that even though the 22-year-old (or not) Dupre had a number of trysts with Spitzer (who called himself "George Fox"), she didn't realize he was the Steamroller until after the February 13th meeting. She allegedly said, "Oh, my God! Do you know who this guy is?" Dupre became involved with the Emperors Club after seeing an ad (wanted: girls to "party" with rich dudes). She had been working as a cocktail waitress at bars like Viscaya, Pink Elephant and Reto.

More of Dupre's "friends and associates" are coming out of the woodwork to offer up their insight. Jason Itzler, self-proclaimed "King of All Pimps" jailed for a while (his defense lawyer even allegedly took over his prostitution ring while he was in jail!) was on Anderson Cooper's CNN show to say he once employed Dupre. Itzler told the Daily News, "This was probably the sexiest, hottest girl I had. She's no joke. She's an awesome, awesome, supercool girl."

A friend from her NJ town, Wall Township, says that Dupre's actually had a privileged childhood. Jennifer Delvalle told the NY Sun, "She's very dramatic. I can speak from the time she was 7 until 16 years old, there was never any physical or sexual abuse." Delvalle implies Dupre was never, in spite of trying to be, popular in school, "To know Ashley is to love her."

Also, it's unclear if being famous enough for Hustler publisher Larry Flynt to say, "We've been looking at [her] very closely. She's young. She's pretty. She's a model. We would love to do business with her, and we will approach her," is what Dupre had mind. Penthouse Magazine Group publisher Diane Silberstein also said she would "love" to have Dupre in the magazine, even the cover: "She sounds like a very interesting and talented young woman, and I'm sure she has a great story to tell. We promise to make it worth her while."

News organizations and TV programs are trying to get the first interview with the 22-year-old (or maybe slightly older) Jersey girl. Access Hollywood executive producer Rob Silverstein tells the Daily News, "At the end of the day, this could be in some sick way a big break for her." Indeed - a recording deal could be on the way: Her MySpace page has been viewed over 6.7 million times and her songs on Amie Street, previously 29 cents, are now 98 cents (she added a new one!)

Could some nice Guido step up and take this poor skank home?!?

  • ping

Well hopefully her notoriety will give her some sort of leverage when she sues the drive-thru plastic surgeon who did her nose!

  • dadoc

Wonder if she got the tramp stamps (gotta love that little cross/dagger on the hand), nose job & 450cc Salines before or after she "ran away to pursue her musical career".

    NOT!

(Jagermeister & Xanax now out of my system from other night's posts, DAMN gotta figure a way to USB a Breathalyzer to the keyboard :)

only if someone claims that everyone owns TV.

    Right or wrong....

Daddy must be proud of his little girl.

baloney. there are drunks and whores in Europe, same as anywhere.

i grew up in Europe. my dad used to give me a small glass of beer with dinner since i was 10. i went to bars and ordered vodka when i was in high-school.

by the time i came to college in America, i was beyond partying and drinking and only wanted to get education. all the American students getting drunk all time around me struck me as childish. mostly because they didn't know how to really enjoy beer, wine, vodka, or whiskey. they only knew how to get shitfaced.

later in life, the problem is this culture of "working hard, playing hard", which translates to over-committing at work and making a mess of your private life.

i think that the problem is that Americans in general just don't learn moderation. Spitzer is the prime-example of someone who wanted to fly to high and ended up crashing too low. if he did not push himself so hard at work and on all these "moral" fronts, maybe he would not develop this hooker addiction.

do you think Sarkozy fucks hookers? he deosn't need to. he simply dumped his wife and married a model. as a politician, you can't really do that in America, so what do you do? you hire a hooker and hope no one finds out.

  • nymichi

    Bxbrian.

They dont take you you any our of your life, you take them. Guess that most of us (at least, part) are working and reading this blog.

In my opinion this story should be just an anecdote and not a big issue as it became. We shouldnt care with who they go to bed or not. Only his family should.

In part, I even think that if he is a good governor, he shouldn't resign (quit). He is not the only one who does it (get hookers). And she shouldn't go to jail. society needs them as long as people are willing to pay for company (sex involved or not)

  • bxbrian

    nymichi

Not a problem with your English at all--it is far better than my Spanish, that's for sure.

I guess it's just disheartening that we, as a nation and to a lesser part a state, can be so easily distracted by these sordid little stories. They take us out of our lives for a few hours a day, but, if left unbalanced by real news happening (the milestones and firsts that Paterson is creating in Spitz's wake), we really just numb our brains and cognitive ability to see what is news and what is "info-tainment"

If it's not this story, it's some celebrity flashing her naughty bits. I just can't help but think that there's no meat left in this story--nothing left to uncover that really affects us (unless there's a lot of campaign finance laundering yet to be seen).

I guess I just wish people spent as much time reading about this Jersey hooker as they did about the economy, and most importantly, the environment. That's just my opinion--if you don't like it, saying something rude and crass on the internet won't really persuade me. (not that you did nymichi)

In America, sex is an obsession, in other parts of the world it's a fact.

Does anyone want to guess how many sexual partners she had?

  • eyekantspel

Europeans, who give their kids a glass of wine with dinner from an early age, don't have the problem with teenage binge drinking - we do. Similarly, our country's obsession with labeling all thing sexual "sleazy" creates all kinds of psychological problems in our young girls that many of them have a hard time dealing with well into their adult lives.

baloney. there are drunks and whores in Europe, same as anywhere.

  • ixvnyc

Prostitution should be legal. Just like marriage. Same deal, only on per-hour bases. What's the big deal?

Personally, I think lower of the woman Spitzer pays to stand by his side while he is giving apologies to us for cheating on her, then of the woman he is paying for sex.

Sex is a natural act. Standing by someone while he apologizes to someone else for something that really hurt only you is just a travesty.

  • nymichi

#28 I'm European and never got a glass of wine at dinner, and in Spain we do drink a lot of wine..

I do not know anybody who drunk wine at dinner at early age but know tons of guys getting drunk at 14 every weekend.

  • 1987porsche944

Satyrist - I don't think you can generalize that easily. Everyone is different and reacts in their own ways to environmental influences.

I am not puritanical nor would I imply to children that sex is "bad" (I was just being a bit facetious with that comment). In my opinion, more prostitutes probably grew up in broken homes and absorbing abuse. Then again, this is only my opinion, and I respect yours even though I don't agree.

FYI - my sister lives in Paris, and yes, they do give their children wine, but they also seem to have a large percentage of teenage binge drinkers. It's just more socially accepted there.

And seriously...I'm still wondering why she's not in jail!

  • nymichi

    #27

No, it was not sarcasm, maybe its my english that I do not know well how to express my idea (english is not my language as you can see)

You said enough already, but keep refreshing the website and reading the comments... seems you like this story.

Dont see why the media is going to stop to talk about this while we are that interested in it..

And sorry for my english. I try my best to explain my idea.

  • wowthatsucks

Duh, I forgot about that. Thanks for clearing that up Satyrist.

  • Kojak

Maybe she struck a deal to testify and to tell all she knows?

  • Satyrist

Don't care one way or another if she's a pro, but, i'm curious as to why she isn't in jail for it if its illegal.

That's easy... she cooperated with the prosecutor's investigation. If she hadn't, well...

  • wowthatsucks

Don't care one way or another if she's a pro, but, i'm curious as to why she isn't in jail for it if its illegal. Any legal experts out there?

  • bxbrian

    27:

    Was that sarcasm?

  • Satyrist

I'm all for puritanical if my children don't grow up wanting to be a hooker.

LOL, there's the unintended irony. It's precisely that repressed attitude toward sex that ends up causing girls to become hookers.

Interview a stripper or a call girl and 9 times out of 10 you'll find they had overly strict or abusive parents. Many of these women spend the rest of their lives looking for the approval and validation from male authority figures that they didn't get from their father who disapproved of or attempted to repress their natural sexual development.

  • nymichi

    #15

For the media is not enough until we all stop reading and being interested about this. If no body read the blogs, write comments, buy newspapers and so on they wouldnt be talking about it... its our "fault".

Dont blame the media, they give you what you want.

  • 1987porsche944

Satyrist - are you in the industry? Sounds like it.

I've been to Vegas. It's pretty sleazy. I'm all for puritanical if my children don't grow up wanting to be a hooker.

  • Kojak

Give me a break porsche. Who cares? As far as I'm concerned, its her body, she can do what she wants with it. Why do you think the Europeans have such a lax attitude towards paying for sex? They figured out a long time ago that Its no big deal.

  • Satyrist

    Free your mind, ladies!

Does "Get your laws off my body!" not apply to sex workers?

This is only illegal because of outdated puritanical and paternalistic views toward female sexuality. That's why the women get busted and the men walk.

What does she have to be ashamed of? Should she put on a burkha, Osama? Let her have her 15 minutes.

The message you are sending to *your* kids is that sex is wrong and dirty and that women's life choices should be limited by laws written by white men.

  • JacqueMehoff

I saw the king of all pimps on AC. it's amazing who the media will interview or get insight from in a story like this.

I missed that part of dupray being in his stable though, I believe I heard him mention she's attractive to some john's because she's the "girl next door".

Why are people giving her the star treatment? shouldn't she be concerned about jail? last I've read, hookers go through the system. so, there's no criminal consequences?

  • JacqueMehoff

jeez she got krazy druggie type tattoo on her hand.

  • 1987porsche944

Still, prostitution is illegal. She should be in jail. So should Spitzer. What's with all this star treatment? She's a hooker! How is it even news that everyone cares about her background? Still? I can't escape it, it's on every news channel!

Media publishes what sells, and this is unfortunately what is selling at this moment in time. We are in a sad state. Much more important news exists right now.

  • eyekantspel

Spitzer bangs a hooker. He loses his job and faces prosecution for the crime, and rightly so. Meanwhile, she's making more money than ever, seems to have no shame or embarassment about being a prostitute, and from what I read, people, including her family and friends, don't seem particularly bothered by her acts.

Should we really be glorifying prostitution??

I suppose it's just continuing down the slippery slope from the celebrity of Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan to celebrating outright hookers.

What message does this send to our kids? Go to college, work your butt off and if you're lucky you might scrape by until your job is outsourced, or become a whore, be a celebrity and make millions.

  • just saying

#17 - Funniest comment so far. (Given her "occupation", you're probably right.)

  • Satyrist

I hope she goes to jail. We need to stop glorifying girls (i.e. Britney, Lindsay, Paris and this girl) that are complete WHORES! These girls don't deserve a career or any respect. JAIL TIME is what they DESERVE!

LOL, and people wonder why men go to hookers, LOL...

Embrace your inner Goddess, girlfriend, before its too late! You are a woman... don't you see that all you are advocating is a symbolic form of female circumcision?

Womyn who embrace the power of their female sexuality and learn to use it to their advantage should NOT be put in jail. They *should* be glorified.

I beg to differ. Her pictures are all over national as well as international newspapers, Playboy and Hustler are offering $$$ for her to pose nude, and some misguided record execs are actually in contact with her.

Never underestimate the power of a good sex scandal.
