Obviously Spitzer's wife wasn't giving him "no satisfaction" and he had to look for it somewhere else. Society always blames the man when he strays and hires a prostitute, but we should look at what the woman will or will not do to keep the marriage together by providing those deeds.

In the past few days, I've begun to atone for my private failings... From those to whom much is given, much is expected. 1. These weren't private failings. He broke the law. Granted, he can't say that in his speech, but spinning it as private won't fool anyone... except 30% of those polled, the same 30% who manage to be wrong about everything no matter what. 2. "Much is expected"? No, we didn't expect much, just that you didn't break the very laws you've spent your career enforcing against others. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

I think it's just GREAT that David Patterson, the GOVERNOR of NEW YORK lives in a Rent Stabilized Apartment at Lenox Terrace in Harlem. We've got an "inside man" positioned to secure it going forward. David's been benefiting from Rent Stabilization his whole life, I doubt he will dismantle it in any way!
