About deaf kid with dog:
Recent statistics show all the effort to aid the disabled might be making them unemployable. Who wants the additional lawsuits when it's time to fire the underperformers and layoffs?

The dog with the deaf kid really doesn't make sense, especially since he has cochlear implants. As for fire alarms most newer ones have a visual flashing strobe as part of the alerting system. It sounds like a frivolous lawsuit/get rich quick scheme.

1. hard to understand how a dog really helps this deaf kid-- the suggestions that it can help him know when there's a fire alarm are kind of interesting-- wouldn't he see everyone else reacting to the fire alarm?

2. suing for $150 million? sickening.
