THEATER: The mysteriously site-specific Death By Water begins at a funeral home in Fort Greene, where a small audience of 6-10 people gather before being transported by rickshaw to an undisclosed location. Once at the drop point, headphones are distributed and the group looks through a plexiglass window at a dreamlike blend of theater, dance and film happening outside. Stan Richardson says Death By Water, brought by Canadian group bluemouth inc., "possesses that quality all too rare in theatre: the ability to wake you up.' – John Del Signore

British Biochemist Paul Nurse has been Knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for his service to humanity as a cancer researcher, he co-hosts the science series on the Charlie Rose Show, he won a Nobel Prize, and most importantly: he's a New Yorker.
