<description>&lt;p&gt;Well the vollies out on the Island don&apos;t want to wash their über expensive firetrucks so no Silly String. That is just silly!

&quot;Long Island Fire Truck&quot;is often used as a pejorative term, since they spend absurd amounts of money on needless things for the apparatus. Newsday a year or two ago had a series of reports about the absurdity of the Long Island fire departments. They really need professional county wide departments, like in Los Angeles County. 

As for banning things in pubs on St. Patrick&apos;s Day we would go with green beer. You drink either Guinness or Harp and not out of a bottle! 

And as for the Post/WSJ synergy - no doubt the Post will be counting the circ numbers as sales.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
