  • Rangers 4 Carolina 2: It was the perfect blend of the old and the new for New York on Thursday. Brandon Dubinsky got things started for the Rangers with a great backhand off of the pretty feed from Jaromir Jagr. Sean Avery came off the bench at the right time to grab the puck and score a goal right before the first period ended to make it 2-0. It was 3-2 in the third when Nigel Dawes fed Brendan Shanahan with a perfect cross-ice pass to make it 4-2 and clinch the win.
  • Islanders 5 Atlanta 4: The Islanders jumped out to a 3-0 lead and then went to sleep, giving up three-consecutive goals to tie it up at 3. But, New York woke up and Mike Comrie put them ahead 4-3, only to see Atlanta tie things up very late in the third. Josef Vasicek made a great play in the corner and fed Trent Hunter with a perfect pass to provide the game-winner at 1:09 of overtime.
  • Nets 120 Milwaukee 106: Who needs Jason Kidd? Devin Harris made his Nets debut a memorable one scoring 21 points and adding five assists. Vince Carter and Richard Jefferson added 19 each in the win.

Dubinsky not only has the funniest eyebrows in the National Hockey League, he's also shown he can be a star at the highest level. Keep it up, Rangers. Great time to go on a tear.

you're so right dave, he almost looks like a real-life Mii.
