Is the Brooklyn Ghostbuster Real?

This photograph was spotted in Carroll Gardens; presumably there's someone someone named Sal who has a knack for busting evil spirits.

We called to see how the paranormal business was going in Brooklyn, but the landline reached a woman who was utterly confused at our request to speak with Sal the Ghostbuster; while calling the cell phone landed us in voicemail. However, we're thrilled to report that since the call to the cell was made we've received several return phone calls containing some yelling followed by hanging up. Perhaps we interrupted him busting some ghosts.

It seems one person was able to get through ("after a bit of confusion on the other end of the line"), and was able to talk to the 27-year old Sal.

We interviewed a paranormal investigator last year and he assured us Brooklyn was plenty haunted (including McCarren Park Pool!), so the borough could certainly use some expert 'busters.

I live in Carroll Gardens and I also have a Pennsylvania 267 cell number. Of course, I hung up my ghost busting hat in 1903.

We find it odd that the cell number is in Pennsylvania.

    Man: Who's your favorite ghostbuster?

Consuela: I like the black one.

ChiChi: The black one? He is not real ghostbuster!

So what is an "american indian smudgeing[sic]?" It sounds questionable to me.
