A Hillary Clinton campaign stop in Cincinnati became an opportunity for her to blast Barack Obama over what she called "blatantly false" campaign literature. Clinton said, "Shame on you, Barack Obama," as she held the literature in question. “It is time you ran a campaign consistent with your messages in public. That’s what I expect from you. Meet me in Ohio. Let’s have a debate about your tactics and your behavior in this campaign.”
The Obama campaign literature notes a Newsday article which suggests Clinton believes NAFTA was a "boon" to the economy; the Times reports Newsday editors didn't correct the article as the Clinton camp claimed but did say "Obama’s use of the citation in this way does strike us as misleading." (Yesterday, Clinton said, "I am fighting to change NAFTA.) Another flyer claimed Clinton's health care plan would force people to buy insurance if they can't afford it. She also said, "Let's have a real campaign. Enough with the speeches and the big rallies and then using tactics that are right out of Karl Rove's playbook."
Obama denied the accusations, saying Clinton's anger was "tactical", "The notion that somehow we're engaging in nefarious tactics I think is pretty hard." The two candidates will debate in Cleveland on Tuesday. And during last night's (this morning's?) Saturday Night Live Weekend Update, Tina Fey had a segment about bitches and mentioned the senator from New York's presidential campaign:
A Washington Post-ABC News poll is saying Clinton and Obama are dead even in Texas, Clinton leads by 7 points in Ohio. Clinton needs a more resounding majority in both Texas and Ohio to win the number of delegates she needs. And as far as Frank Rich is concerned, the Clinton campaign is "The Audacity of Hopelessness."

I thought Tina Fey's Clinton segment was dead on. Yes, women will do what Oprah tells them and, yes, bitches totally get stuff done.
I completely agree.
It's totally true that bitches get stuff done! Unfortunately for Clinton, bitches aren't electable, at least not according to the latest polls.
I already loved Tina Fey, but now I idolize her.
Screw Stewart/Colbert...
Fey/Poehler '08!
Bitches that'll get things done!
Jen Chung is right. People in this country still want to believe that Dad knows best, although it's encouraging to see how well she's doing. It will be interesting to see, when the nominations are settled, whether a majority of the nation is ready for a black dad.
Clinton would be wise to borrow from Fey and start printing up new buttons, signs, and shirts: "Hillary '08, Cause Bitches Get Things Done!"
That screed was so painfull! Equating the upper class life-long politco as the "women's candidate" is just wrong. Thank you Tina for making the millions of women who support Obama invisible, and for equating your support for Hillary to a blow against sexism.
Obama lifted rhetoric and passed it off as his own. He perpetuated a fraud on his audience. Obama's glib dismissal of his plagiarism showed his slickness and a fundamental character flaw of dishonesty.
Obama rudely snubbed Hillary Clinton at the SOTU and lied about it.
Now with the sleaze mailings with lies and discredited information, Obama perpetuated a fraud on voters.
There is a pattern of slickness and lying that state Obama lacks character and is unfit for the presidency, besides being unqualified and inexperienced.
51% of women make up America as opposed to 13.4% of africans. Hilary should win by a landslide. But guess what? women hate women.
If you watched Meet the Press today, there were a few clips of Hillary using the same lines as her husband and John Edwards. Good stuff. They all copy. My biggest problem with the lines Obama borrowed was that I thought his delivery was not nearly as good as the original.
Anyway, crat3, hopefully you see the humor in a Clinton supporter accusing someone of "a pattern of slickness and lying."
While we're talking about being unqualified and inexperienced, an accusation being thrown about quite a bit by Hillary supporters, I rarely hear them tout what her qualifications and experience are. As first lady, worked on a failed health care proposal. As a Senator from New York, I don't know what she's accomplished. Is there some big piece of legislation or something she marshalled through? It's an honest question, so feel free to share.
Nah. It's because white women love black men. Obama's got that whole Mandingo/"jungle fever" thing going. Just ask Spike Lee.
Just when you think things can't get any worse for the Clinton campaign (re: Nader) - I think Hillary's day of reckoning may come as early as next Wednesday or Friday at the latest. Even if she manages to eke out a win from either Ohio or Texas (yes, not both), it will be so close that sideliners like Edwards and Richardson will be forced to endorse Obama, initiating a cascade of support from the Democratic establishment essentially making him the presumptive nominee. Anyhow, what a hubristic downfall we have seen with the whole Clinton saga, with it's scope almost as "breathtaking" - to borrow that word from the NYT - as the precipitous demise of Rudy Giuliani .
So if Opera tells you to vote for Obama it's wrong but if Tina Fey tells you to vote for clinton it's right?
It seems like only men are making up their minds on their own.
Hilary is all tactics. She also burrowed slogans from her husband. Im all for Bitches getting things done as a gay male. But im sorry I dont "just" want to see a woman president. I want to see a woman president who has it in her heart for this world. Not just to be first woman commander in chief. Thats what I see in her eyes is the win. Saying everything and doing everything just to be it. Obama seems cool collected calm and speaks from his heart. Obama 08.
And the health insurance flyers she got pissed about? They are speakin' the truth...
Obama wants to regulate the health insurance industry and lower costs before putting through any kind of mandate, Clinton wants to mandate ASAP meaning that the standard $200-$400 a month that insurance currently costs would be garnished from your paycheck if you don't have health insurance.

Lets talk attacks---
Clinton tried to make Obama into a pothead

Clinton tried to say that Obama was a radical muslim:
http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/01/22/obama.madrassa/
"She even went so far as to dig up a kindergarten essay of Obama's entitled "I Want to Be President" to accuse him of lying about not having a lifelong lust for the Oval Office."
